“Feel each day. Give it your youth, your health, your abilities, your hope – so that your whole life will be a wonder. And your memories sweet.”
Really, exactly feeling each day, doing something interesting, hope and believe in better life means happiness.
I guess happiness is a target of every person, let alone his character or personality. But not everyone is capable to get this happiness, because of not really tasting the deepness of the life. And a new life begins for us with every second. So let’s us go forward joyously to meet it. We must press on, whether we will or not and we shall walk better with our eyes before us than with them ever cast behind. (J.K. Jerome).
As a rule, many writers, poets wrote about happiness, trying to share with its formula. But what does happiness mean to an ordinary person? Its formula is quite easy, but essential for every alive creature. In fact, family, friends, favorite, well-paid job make a person happy.
Family… Nothing can be better than having your own family, your own habour where you are always welcome with your joy and grief. There is no better place where you can relax, unwind and merely be yourself. No masks, no false smiles and looks, everything comes natural. Exactly for me family has played the first place in making me happy.
These are those people who taught me to find happiness in sun shower, gentle sound of spring rain, birds’ singing and soft whispering of leaves. I learned from them to love people, to admire their wisdom, kindness and feel peace in their presence. I can’t express my gratitude to my parents for all they’ve done to make me a personality.
“If you’re ever in a jam,
Here I am.
If you’re ever in a mess.
If you ever feel so happy you land in jail,
I’m your bail
It’s friendship, friendship,
Just a perfect blend ship…”
It’s a well-known fact that a person can’t live without a friend. That’s why. I think a person has to find some new friends during his life to make it more interesting. “If a man does not make a new acquaintance as he advances through his life, he will soon find himself alone. A man, Sir, should keep his friendship in constant repair” (S. Johnson).
But having new friends we don’t have to forget our old friends. As Ecelesiasticus said: “A new friend is a new wine; when it is old, thou shalt drink it with pleasure”.
What about a job? In order to get money people should work somewhere, because job is the first need after bread. And it would be better if you don’t only earn money, but like your job as well. Russian writer Gorky said: “If you like your job, your life seems wonderful”.
So now I’ve opened you the formula of happiness. But if it happened so that you don’t have some point from this formula, don’t be disappointed. Nevertheless, you have to wake up with a smile and go after life…You have to live it, enjoy it, taste it, smell it, fell it. If something doesn’t come, it will come in the nearest future. We know that we must live through the dreary winter if we would value spring. And flowers must be buried in darkness before they can bud and bloom. And the sweetest, warmest sunshine comes after the storm and gloom.
The only thing which is very important now is to love people, appreciate them, pay attention to the little details such as sunlight through leaves, a cat sprawled across your knees, the taste of an apple, a dew bright spider’s web, fell each moment of life, appreciating the beauty of our magnificent world.
This is Life, but we do treat it like a rehearsal, and, unhappily, we do miss so many of its best moments, still thinking that there will be a lot of tomorrows.
“The world calls you back to life.
A river breaking from the ice.
Rain after drought.
Sunshine after cloud”
